  • Who is the audience for Huntley Math Circle?
Huntley Math Circle provides children a structured, stress-free pathway to achieving success in Mathematics Contests and College Admission Tests such as the SAT by utilizing proven techniques of teaching and learning. Any child that is willing to engage in non-routine thinking and is curious to learn will benefit from the program
  • How is Huntley Math different from other math enrichment programs and test prep services?
Several ways! The courses we offer were designed only after seeing the success that our own children achieved in County Math Olympiads, Chapter/State Mathcounts tests and AMC contests. Students learn math by doing. So all courses emphasize interactive discussion and questioning that engages students and helps them build concepts organically. Students are only given material in chunks that they can digest. There is no pressure of 'completing the syllabus', this allows students to learn ideas at a deep level, which is necessary to succeed in competition math. We aim to demystify math and math olympiads/contests, hence every effort is made to keep program costs nominal while ensuring that the quality of study material is exceptionally high.
